Welcome to Connecting Mothers Initiative!
As a mom of two and the wife of an active-duty service member, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of motherhood without a consistent support system. Frequent moves meant leaving behind community, starting over, and navigating motherhood largely on my own. Through this journey, I came to understand just how essential a village is for mothers and caregivers, and how often, in military life, that village is missing.
Military mothers and caregivers face a unique reality: constantly rebuilding support networks, searching for trusted resources, and navigating major life transitions without the stability many others rely on. Too often, finding help means sifting through endless information without knowing what to trust.
I founded Connecting Mothers Initiative to be a modern-day village for military mothers and caregivers—a place to find trusted, accessible resources and build meaningful connections that move with you. Our mission is to close the critical resource awareness gap and create a supportive community, ensuring no one has to face the challenges of motherhood alone.
