Summary
La Leche League Alliance is a non-profit group that helps families with breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and weaning. They offer support through trained volunteers called Leaders, who have breastfed their own children and help others by phone, text, email, social media, or in person. The Alliance also trains and supports Leaders with up-to-date education so they can help families in kind and informed ways. This group believes that breastfeeding is natural and important for both the baby and the parent. They work with communities to share information and offer support. La Leche League Alliance welcomes everyone, no matter their background, and wants Leaders to come from many different walks of life.
